• AVIATION. The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) hired Patton Boggs to lobby on is behalf on the Federal Aviation Administration reauthorization bill. Robert Jones and Alexander Annett are lobbying for NBAA.

• CLIMATE CHANGE. BKSH & Associates is helping the Lighthouse Consulting Group lobby on behalf of the United States Climate Action Partnership , Senate lobbying records show.

• DEFENSE. Elmendorf Strategies is lobbying for Northrop Grumman on legislation affecting global defense and technology, according to lobbying records.

Boeing , meanwhile, has hired the Podesta Group to lobby on its behalf. David Morrison, a former Democratic staff director on the Appropriations Defense subcommittee, is one of several lobbyists at the Podesta Group lobbying for Boeing.

• FARM BILL. Wheat Government Relations , on behalf of the Bay Mills Indian Community, hired Alexander Beckles to lobby on the Farm Bill. Beckles is a former legislation aide to three congressmen, including Rep. Edolphus Towns (D-N.Y.).

The Georgia Pecan Growers Association hired Robert Redding to lobby on the Farm Bill and agricultural appropriations, Senate lobbying records show.

• HEALTHCARE. Ikon Public Affairs is working to win federal funding for the Food Allergy Project , which performs medical research on food allergies. The lobbying team includes Craig Snyder, a former chief of staff to Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.); Kevin Roy, the appropriations aide to then-Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.); Brian Aiello and Eric Settle.

• HIGH TECH. Global Strategic Partners is lobbying for Microsoft on education and immigration issues. Marland Buckner, former chief of staff to then-Rep. Harold Ford (D-Tenn.), is lobbying for the computer software company.

Google hired Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr to lobby on Internet openness and innovation issues, Senate lobbying records show. Jamie Gorelick, a deputy attorney general in the Clinton administration, is one of four Wilmer Cutler lobbyists helping the search giant on Capitol Hill.

• HIGHER EDUCATION. Hogan & Hartson is lobbying for the Ohio State University on a Medicare exclusion issue.

• PATENT REFORM. The Coalition for Patent Fairness hired Chlopak, Leonard, Schechter and Associates to lobby on patent reform legislation. Beau Phillips is lobbying for the coalition.
