• COPYRIGHT. Proskauer Rose is lobbying for Reed Elsevier on copyright issues in the fields of science, medicine and technical publishing.

• DEFENSE. Ervin Technical Associates is lobbying for Shumar Industries on the defense authorization and appropriations bills. Former Rep. Jack Edwards (R-Ala.) is lobbying for the company.

• FOREIGN AFFAIRS. Barbour Griffith & Rogers is lobbying for the Embassy of Poland by advising U.S. policymakers and setting up meetings between U.S. and Polish officials, according to lobbying records. Stephen Rademaker, former senior council and policy director of the National Security Council, and Walker Roberts, former deputy chief of staff to the House International Relations Committee, will be lobbying on behalf of the embassy.

• HEALTHCARE. Advocates for Youth has registered to lobby on issues such as family planning, comprehensive sex education and the domestic HIV/AIDS situation.

• IMMIGRATION. The Morrison Public Affairs Group is lobbying for IEEE-USA, a public policy arm of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, on immigration policies that favor green cards over temporary visas. Former Rep. Bruce Morrison (D-Conn.) and Paul Donnelly will be lobbying on behalf of IEEE-USA.

• TRADE. Husch Blackwell Sanders is lobbying for Bimeda ìto provide for the liquidation or reliquidation of certain entries of bulk aspirinî into the miscellaneous trade bill. Kyle Gilster, former counsel on the House Financial Services Committee, is lobbying on behalf of Bimeda.

• TRANSPORTATION. Gibbons & Company is lobbying for Washington Football, the group that owns the Washington Redskins, on the Safe, Accountable, Efficient Transportation Equity Act.
