• ADVERTISING. Catherine McCullough is lobbying for the Minority Media and Telecommunications Council to amend the Federal Trade Commission Act and enforce the use of “No Urban” and “No Spanish” in radio advertising.

• AGRICULTURE. Sher & Blackwell is lobbying for the Farm Sanctuary on legislation pertaining to animal rights and food safety inspection. Steven Schwadron, former chief of staff to Rep. Bill Delahunt (D-Mass.), and Jeffrey Pike, former chief of staff of the House Committee on Merchant Marine and Fisheries, will be lobbying for the Farm Sanctuary.

• AVIATION. Dawson West/DBA Packard Government Affairs is lobbying for the Maytag Aircraft Corporation on aircraft services contracting with the government. Former Rep. Ron Packard (R-Calif.) and Donald Polese are lobbying on behalf of the company.

• DEFENSE. The Carmen Group is lobbying for the Defense Group on issues relating to the Federal Emergency Management Agency and biotech detection. Terrence O’Connell II, former chairman for the Reserve Forces Policy Board, and David Thompson, former staff member of the presidential and vice presidential Advance Teams, will be lobbying for the Defense Group.

JM Burkman & Associates is lobbying for In Sequence to “market the company to the national security bureaucracy,” according to records filed with the Senate.

Patton Boggs is lobbying for the Noble Peak Vision Corp. on export licensing issues pertaining to multispectral infrared cameras.

• DISASTER. Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal is lobbying for the New Orleans City Council on amending the Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act.

• FINANCE. Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld is lobbying for the Affinion Group on legislation to clarify the Credit Repair Organization Act. Jamie Tucker, previously legal counsel to former Rep. Anne Northup (R-Ky.), and Dave Carlin, former assistant secretary for congressional relations to the Agriculture Department, will be lobbying for the Affinion Group.

• IMMIGRATION. Vinson & Elkins is lobbying for Greater Houston Partnership on immigration reform. Alberto Cardenas Jr., former general counsel to Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas), is lobbying for Greater Houston Partnership.
