• AGRICULTURE. H.R. Bert Pena is lobbying for the American Peanut Shellers Association on issues relating to the peanut industry, such as trade and farming legislation.

• BUDGET. GSP Consulting is lobbying for Virtus Advanced Sensors on appropriations for the Defense Department.

• EDUCATION. Education Counsel is lobbying for the Massachusetts 2020 Foundation on amending the Elementary and Secondary Education Act to allow an expanded learning time demonstration project, according to records filed with the Senate. Reginal Leichty, former deputy legislative director and counsel to Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.), is lobbying for the foundation.

• ENERGY. ML Strategies is lobbying for BWX Technologies on federal investment into clean coal technology.

Wolf Block Public Strategies is lobbying for Starwood Energy Group on issues related to the investment tax credit for solar energy.

• GOVERNMENT. Lasa, Monroig & Veve is lobbying for El Sanado de Puerto Rico to facilitate the implementation of federal programs and ensure compliance with federal laws.

• IMMIGRATION. Gateway Consulting is lobbying for the Livingston Group on behalf of the Information Technology Association of America on legislation regarding immigration reform.

• SPORTS. Stanley Schlein is lobbying on behalf of the New York Yankees on issues relating to the construction of the team’s new stadium.

• TAX. Rebecca Hawes is lobbying for Koch Industries on corporate federal tax policy. Hawes was previously a legislative aide to former Sen. John Breaux (D-La.).

• TECHNOLOGY. Ricchetti Incorporated is lobbying for Phorm on online privacy issues. Steve Ricchetti, former deputy chief of staff under the Clinton administration, and Luke Albee, former chief of staff to Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), will be lobbying for Phorm.

• TRADE. BKSH & Associates is lobbying for the Alliance of American Manufacturing on international trade issues. Pam Turner, a former official at the Department of Homeland Security, is lobbying for the alliance.

The Kaye Scholer law firm is representing SAFRAN Group in its acquisition of Digimarc Corporation , which produces driver’s licenses for state departments of motor vehicles.
