• Alicia Peterson Clark has joined APCO Worldwide as a vice president and senior adviser. Most recently having served as chief of staff to Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.), Peterson Clark also worked on the 2000 Bush-Cheney campaign and in the White House for Bush’s first term.
• Greg Billings has joined Drinker Biddle & Reath as its new senior government relations director. Billings has previously served as deputy chief of staff to former Sen. Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) and Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.).
Morgan Muchnick was hired by Turner Government & Public Affairs as its new manager of government affairs. Most recently, Muchnik was a senior public policy and government relations manager with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics . He has previously served on the staff of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Relations Committee under former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.).
• Tiffany Moore has joined Venable as a senior legislative adviser. Moore has worked at the U.S. Office of the Trade Representative under Ambassadors Robert Portman and Susan Schwab since 2006.
• Mark Micali has joined Merrill Lynch & Co. as director of government relations. Most recently, he served as vice president of government affairs for the Direct Marketing Association . Micali has also worked on the staff of former Rep. Dan Rostenkowski (D-Ill.).
• David Bonior has resumed his position of chairman for American Rights at Work . Earlier this year, the former Democratic Michigan congressman was the presidential campaign manager for former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.).
• The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has elected Donald Shepard as its new chairman of the board of directors as well as Robert Milligan as its new vice chairman. Shepard is currently the non-executive chairman of AEGON USA , and has previously served as chairman and chief executive officer of AEGON N.V. Milligan is currently the president of CBMC International , a Christian marketplace ministry. |
