Seniors deserve as many choices as possible when it comes to Medicare and health care they depend on in their daily lives. It's unfortunate that some in Washington have tried to cut the Medicare Advantage program, which provides additional choices to seniors, to pay for increased spending on things such as taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal immigrants. To ensure seniors continue to have as many Medicare options as possible, I fought such cuts during the current Congress, and will continue to do so in the future.
